Papua Regional Police Evaluate Operation Rasaka Cartenz 2026 to Strengthen Security Stability

The Papua Regional Police held an online Analysis and Evaluation (Anev) meeting for the 10th week of Operation Rasaka Cartenz 2026 with officials across the Papua region.

The meeting was led by several operational officials and focused on strengthening strategies to maintain public safety and order in Papua.

During the evaluation, operational leaders emphasized the importance of personnel discipline, readiness in the field, and a preventive and humane approach throughout the operation.

All members were asked to actively engage with the community to maintain security stability and enhance residents’ sense of safety.

Additionally, the public relations function was deemed to play a crucial role in strengthening public communication and disseminating positive information to the community.

The Head of Public Relations for the Papua Regional Police stated that the success of the operation is not only measured by activity reports but also by tangible impacts, such as a decrease in public security disturbances.

Budgetary support and operational facilities were also urged to be utilized to the fullest extent possible so that operational targets can be achieved effectively and optimally.

Meanwhile, the Matoa Task Force was encouraged to be more active in producing positive content on social media through the network of influencers that has been established in the operational area.

This step is expected to strengthen the positive image of the National Police while helping to maintain security stability in the digital space.

The evaluation meeting also discussed improvements in the performance of other task forces, the strengthening of budget administration, and the quality of reporting and publicizing operational activities across all ranks.
