PT PLN (Persero) ensures that the electricity supply throughout the Papua region remains secure and reliable during the Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri celebrations.
To ensure the public’s comfort while performing their religious duties and holiday activities, PLN has strengthened the electrical systems in various regions and put operational personnel on standby.
The General Manager of PLN’s Papua and West Papua Regional Headquarters stated that the electricity readiness period was initiated early to anticipate potential disruptions during the Eid al-Adha period.
According to PLN, the current power supply conditions in the Papua and West Papua regions remain safe, with sufficient reserve capacity to meet public needs.
Additionally, PLN has established emergency response posts, prepared supporting equipment, and deployed technical teams to maintain a 24-hour watch.
These measures are being taken to ensure that electricity service remains stable so that the public can perform their Eid al-Adha worship comfortably without any disruptions to the energy supply.
PLN reaffirms its commitment to continuously maintaining the reliability of the electricity system, particularly during important religious occasions and national holidays.
