Sales of the Jaecoo J5 EV in Indonesia have continued to rise throughout the first half of 2026.
As of April 2026, 16,000 units have been delivered to customers across various regions.
From January through April 2026, retail sales reached 10,587 units, while wholesale sales stood at 11,006 units.
This achievement makes the Jaecoo J5 EV one of the best-selling electric SUVs in the Indonesian automotive market.
Jaecoo states that the high consumer interest reflects the public’s growing confidence in electric vehicles.
This vehicle is an electric SUV that prioritizes comfort, efficiency, and long-range travel capability.
The Jaecoo J5 EV is claimed to have a range of up to 461 kilometers on a single charge.
In addition to fully electric models, Jaecoo also offers hybrid vehicles such as the J7 SHS-P and J8 SHS-P ARDIS, which utilize Super Hybrid System (SHS) technology.
This technology is designed to combine vehicle performance with optimal fuel efficiency and range.
To celebrate this sales milestone, Jaecoo Indonesia hosted the “Jaecoo Weekend Drive – Together for More” event in the Pantai Indah Kapuk area.
The event was attended by customers, the automotive community, the media, and electric vehicle enthusiasts.
The event also featured a user experience sharing session for the J5 EV as well as an exhibition of official vehicle accessories.
Meanwhile, Jaecoo has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening its after-sales service by expanding its network of authorized dealers and service centers.
The company currently has around 35 dealers in Indonesia and aims to increase that number to 80 by the end of 2026.
