The crypto investment platform PINTU has expanded the number of tokenized assets on its app to 48 types to broaden digital investment options for users in Indonesia.
This move comes amid a growing global trend toward asset tokenization, which is gaining traction among investors as it provides easier access to various real-world investment instruments through blockchain technology.
Iskandar Mohammad, Head of Product Marketing at PINTU, stated that transactions involving tokenized assets on the platform showed positive growth throughout April 2026.
The number of users increased by approximately 9.49 percent compared to the previous month, while the average transaction value per user surged by 87.32 percent.
The tokenized assets available on the app span various global sectors, ranging from technology, artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, e-commerce, healthcare, energy, and financial services, to investment instruments such as ETFs, digital gold, and silver.
Some of the most actively traded assets include the iShares Silver Trust, Apple, Palantir, Tesla, and Alibaba—companies and investment instruments known for their large market capitalizations.
According to PINTU, asset tokenization offers crypto investors the opportunity to diversify their portfolios more broadly with more practical access and relatively affordable capital.
Blockchain technology is also seen as enabling investment processes to be more efficient, transparent, and flexible compared to certain conventional investment systems.
In addition, the development of tokenized assets is said to have the support of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) as it is considered capable of expanding digital investment inclusion in Indonesia.
Looking ahead, asset tokenization is expected to continue growing as part of the global digital financial industry’s transformation while opening new opportunities for retail investors in Indonesia.
